Terms of Business

  1. All pets treated at Greenstead Green Canine Hydrotherapy (GGCH) require a signed and dated veterinary consent form which will be valid for 6 months. Dogs will not be treated without this.

  2. All treatment courses including block bookings and those to be part of an insurance claim must be paid for in full on the day of treatment.

  3. Whilst every care is taken to ensure the safety of dogs undergoing treatment, all dogs remain the responsibility of the owner.

  4. We require 24 hours’ notice of cancellations, by telephone or in person only. If cancellation is less than 24 hours before your appointment, then the full fee will be payable.

  5. Please ensure your dog’s vaccinations are up-to-date and bring their record card with you on their first visit.

  6. Please do not feed your dog for at least 3 hours before your hydrotherapy session and ensure that they have been toileted before arrival.

  7. Please ensure that your pet is as clean and as mud free as possible.

  8. Any fouling on site, must be cleaned up by the owner (please ask if you need a bag).

  9. If the pool is fouled, an additional fee of £25 will be charged due to extra cleaning and possible pool closure.

  10. If your pet has an infectious or contagious condition or is in season, we are unable to commence treatment. Please contact us to reschedule the appointment when the condition is healed or season has finished.

  11. GGCH reserves the right to refuse treatment to any dog.

  12. When visiting, all persons are strongly advised to wear sensible shoes with non-slip soles, as the floor in the pool room can become very wet during pool sessions!

  13. GGCH cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury, to any person or animal whilst on the premises.

  14. When not undergoing treatment, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

  15. Vehicles and contents are parked at owner’s own risk.

  16. GGCH will hold customer details and treatment records on file for legitimate business purposes only.

  17. GGCH reserve the right to use video/photographic equipment during hydrotherapy sessions and may use the footage for legitimate business purposes only.

  18. GGCH cannot be held responsible for any deterioration of your pet’s condition nor any new condition whilst receiving treatment at our Centre.

  19. Please bring at least two drying towels and a warm coat for your pet’s journey home. We ask you to bring your own towels because our pets find comfort in the scent of their home environment, therefore remain in a relaxed state after their treatment.

  20. GGCH may offer other treatments alongside hydrotherapy to include, Therapeutic Handling, Physiotherapy, Reiki, Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy and Phototherapy to aid your pet’s healing.
